Start here: JoyProxy Tester (FREE)

Validate Proxies Before You Scale

Use the free desktop tester to check HTTP, SOCKS5 TCP, and SOCKS5 UDP — outbound IP, geo, latency, and batch validation — before you spend more traffic.

This is a connectivity tool, not a proxy network and not Web Scraping API. Download it, paste an endpoint, then buy or extract only what already passes.

People who need to prove a line works first

After extract

Batch-test dashboard or API endpoints before a crawl.

Protocol QA

Confirm HTTP vs SOCKS5 TCP vs UDP, not just a browser tab.

Geo checks

See outbound IP and location before you assume the city.

Onboarding

New teammates verify auth and latency on a laptop.

Tester ≠ proxy IP ≠ scraper debugger

Dead ports waste GB. A page that loads in Chrome can still fail SOCKS5 or UDP. API Center 403s belong on the Scraper Debugging page — not here.

💸

Buy first, test later

Traffic is gone before you know the port is dead.

🌐

Browser-only checks

A tab can succeed while your scraper 407s.

📡

No UDP coverage

HTTP checkers never prove SOCKS5 UDP ASSOCIATE.

📋

Manual spreadsheets

Dozens of host:port lines, no batch pass/fail.

📍

Wrong geo

You ordered US and the exit is elsewhere.

🐛

Wrong debug tool

Empty DOM / 403 is Scraper Debugging, not this EXE.

Free tester, then the smallest passing pack

Recommended: JoyProxy Tester. Alternative: Scraper Debugging when the endpoint already connects but the page is blocked. Do not buy extra SKUs to learn that auth is wrong.

JoyProxy Tester Recommended Free Windows EXE Recommended — connectivity, geo, latency, and batch validation.
Scraper Debugging Free workflow The proxy connects, but the page returns 403 or an empty DOM.

How to start (one recommended path)

Path A — Download, test one line, then batch (recommended)

Prove the protocol before you scale.

  1. Download the Windows EXE from the product page.
  2. Paste one host:port with auth; confirm HTTP or SOCKS5.
  3. Check outbound IP, geo, and latency.
  4. Batch the rest only after the first line passes.

Path B — Extract, then validate

If you already have a JoyProxy pack.

  1. Extract endpoints from the dashboard or API.
  2. Import or paste them into Tester.
  3. Drop failures before a long crawl.
  4. If HTML is empty but TCP works, switch to Scraper Debugging.

Pick one — do not mix these on the same job

Use Tester when

  • You need HTTP / SOCKS5 TCP / UDP pass-fail.
  • You want outbound IP, geo, or latency.
  • You have a list of endpoints to batch-check.

Use Scraper Debugging when

  • The proxy already connects.
  • The problem is 403, JS, or empty HTML.
  • You are comparing fetch API vs raw proxy.

Common questions

Is Tester a proxy product?

No. It validates endpoints. Buy Residential, Mobile, Business, or Datacenter separately.

macOS / Linux?

The current prebuilt is a Windows EXE. See the product page and GitHub for source-run notes.

Same as Scraper Debugging?

No. Tester is connectivity. Scraper Debugging is blocked pages and empty DOMs.

Does it replace Web Scraping API?

No. The API fetches pages. Tester only checks whether a proxy line answers.

Open source?

Yes — see GitHub Releases for the Windows build.

The desktop app is free. Traffic is a separate purchase after the first line is green.
