To keep the network healthy and compliant, JoyProxy blocks access to certain networks and destinations.

Mainland China restrictions

1. No mainland China exit IPs: All JoyProxy nodes are outside mainland China (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan).
2. You cannot connect to JoyProxy gateways from a mainland China local network.
3. Proxy exit IPs must not access sites in mainland China (including names ending in .cn and servers hosted in mainland China).

High-risk destinations that are blocked

JoyProxy exit gateways automatically block requests to these high-risk categories:

• Banks and financial institutions: online banking, payment gateways, securities and crypto trading platforms.
• Government and public agencies: government portals and public-sector SSO.
• Mail and messaging: bulk webmail logins and sending spam.
